Soon after, he took a position as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the oil field industry, specializing in diesel mechanics for oil field pumps and other equipment. Donnie eventually landed in the fire industry, where our very own Aaron Griffin took him under his wing and trained him in the art of fire pump and apparatus mechanics. We are proud to announce that Donnie is now US Fire Pump’s newest Field Service Technician.

US Fire Apparatus Service Blake

Blake

Field Service Technician

Blake grew up in the firefighting community, wanting to be just like his dad. At 13, he became a Jr. Firefighter and began learning his way around the trucks and how they worked. He became an active firefighter at 18 and has worked his way up to Captain. Blake took an active interest in the mechanical side of things and expanded his knowledge by learning welding, fitting, and heavy mechanic work, getting his certifications in hydraulics, electrical, and computer diagnostics. He loves the challenge involved in solving problems and gets the opportunity to do that servicing equipment. Blake’s experience and passion for his work set him apart and make him a valued member of the US Fire Pump team.
