Shane has long been regarded as a juggernaut in the fire apparatus industry, boasting nearly 30 combined years of sales experience. He began his career in 1997 as a Sales Associate working for Chris Ferrara, quickly becoming a Regional Sales Manager. Shane successfully maintained oversight of sales regions that spanned across Louisiana and portions of Texas, earning the distinction as the Salesman of the Year for Ferrara on multiple occasions. He left in 2022 and worked as a Regional Sales Manager for another fire apparatus dealer network before once again reuniting with Chris Ferrera’s legacy at US Fire Pump and US Fire Apparatus in October 2025. Shane has made a tremendous impact on the firefighting industry, meeting a lot of new friends and selling a lot of apparatus across the region.
Shane is also a US Army veteran, with over 12 years of dedicated service in the Louisiana National Guard. He is a veteran of Desert Storm and served as an M1A1 Abrams tank driver.
Shane played for 10 years competitively in the Shreveport Rugby Football Club, as well as in an “over 30” baseball league. He is also a lifetime member on the board of directors for the Independence Bowl in Shreveport.
He is married to his wife of 25 years, Michele Dulany. Aside from vacationing with his wife and family, some of his passions include fishing and anything with LSU sport or New Orleans Saints football.
