Meet Michael Mueller, our Southwest Regional Sales Manager for US Fire Apparatus. With over 43 years of experience in fire protection and apparatus sales, Michael brings deep industry knowledge and a strong track record to our team.
Michael began his career in 1982 as a volunteer firefighter with the Live Oak Texas Fire Department before serving 11 years as a full-time firefighter and paramedic with the New Braunfels Fire Department. He later transitioned into ambulance and emergency equipment sales with Wheeled Coach Industries and Ferno-Washington Inc., sharpening his expertise in public safety solutions. In 2013, Michael joined Chris Ferrara at Ferrara Fire Apparatus and rose to become Regional Manager, overseeing apparatus sales across the western United States until 2023. His passion for supporting first responders and dedication to delivering reliable solutions has made him a trusted name in the industry.
Outside of work, Michael is a devoted husband, father of four, and grandfather. His son continues the family tradition of firefighting, and Michael and his wife enjoy live music, Notre Dame football, and being active in their church community.
